We’re now moving into the last phase of developing your intrapreneurial venture. There are still many bases to cover as you get ready to put your plans into action. Here are a few things to keep in mind to set yourself up for success!
First, you have to identify the idea for the new venture you want to pursue. We covered strategies for generating ideas in the previous section of this course.
Second, effective preparation and relevant research are critical. Be sure to document your facts carefully and practice your pitch.
No matter what role you currently play, you will need to prove to the senior generation that you have earned your place in the family business.
And finally, you must be sure to leverage all the different sources of capital available.
With this in mind, let’s review what’s been happening in our case story so far.
