Welcome to Section 1, Setting the Stage! As you saw in the introduction, this course consists of three sections.

Upon completing Section 1, Setting the Stage, you will be able to:

• Distinguish ‘intrapreneur’ from ‘entrepreneur’ and ‘manager’
• Examine the elements of an intrapreneurial culture
• Determine the benefits of intrapreneurship for your family business
