I think the intrapreneur needs to be realistic about whether or not the family has the tools necessary for the intapreneur to be successful. So you have probably many families who have funded businesses that shouldn’t have been funded. The intrapreneurs should be well educated, he should have had jobs in other places outside of the family and then bring all of that experience into this family project and understand what tools the family has, what tools from the outside the family might need to give the best chances of success to the new business venture.
