COVID-19 Update: Announcing the Canadian Business Resilience Network
OAKVILLE, ON – April 9, 2020 – On Monday, April 6, The Canadian Chamber of Commerce established the Canadian Business Resilience Network (CBRN) to bring together its network of over 450 chambers of commerce and boards of trade, and over 100 of Canada’s leading business and industry associations, including the Family Enterprise Canada. The CBRN will focus on providing businesses with tools to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, help them emerge from this crisis and drive Canada’s economic recovery.
As a member of CBRN, we will represent our members and our whole FEC community.
We know many of you have growing concerns about your business and encourage you to visit the CBRN website to access the latest information, tools and resources. You’ll find resources to help address your concerns, including:
- Managing the health and safety of your workforce
- Payroll continuity and cash flow management
- Financial support and government relief programs
- And so much more!
During these unprecedented times, we’re seeing businesses across the country do what they can to help. We hope you’ll make a small contribution to this effort by taking a few minutes to participate in the Canadian Survey of Business Conditions (CSBC). The survey will examine the impact COVID-19 has had on businesses, changes businesses are making to adapt, and challenges businesses continue and expect to face. Data from the CSBC will provide crucial insight to help shape policy decisions and navigate the way forward.
