Known Scams
We are currently monitoring and investigating a rise in deceptive emails that falsely claim to have Family Enterprise Canada’s membership information, or are making false requests for your information directly. You can see updated examples of these emails below.
To be clear: These are scams. Family Enterprise Canada does not sell, share or otherwise distribute its membership data. We take our Members’ privacy seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.
Unfortunately, these types of scams frequently target membership-based organizations and event hosts. If you search “list selling scams” you will see many organizations have issued similar warnings.
Typically, the companies and people behind these messages don’t actually exist, and if they provide any data at all, it’s often scraped from publicly available sources.

Have you received a scam email?
If you receive or have received one of these emails, do not engage with it. Instead, forward it to us at info@familyenterprise.ca so we can track it, then delete the email. Please keep in mind that these scams often resurface under new names and with new requests.
We greatly appreciate our Members who have reported these incidents and helped us stay ahead of these deceptive tactics.
