Family Enterprise Canada Board of Directors

Family Enterprise Canada is governed by a board of 6 to 14 members from across Canada, consisting of family business members, FEA designates, partners and academics. To ensure the best interests of family enterprise are front and centre, family business members will maintain a majority of directors on the board. A call for nominations will be made when there is a vacancy. The Governance and Nominating Committee will review and select new Board members based on skills, experience and strategic fit. Family Enterprise Canada members will be asked to ratify the slate of directors and officers once a year at the Annual General Meeting.

The board will be supported by a robust committee structure inclusive of Governance, Finance, FEA, Business Family and others. To ensure Family Enterprise Canada members are able to contribute their voice to the organization, these committees will engage members from across Canada to tap into their expertise and ensure we stay in touch with the needs of the whole community.
