OCTOBER 15, 2021 – Family Enterprise Canada is honoured to announce the successful certification of 71 Family Enterprise Advisors (FEAs) in 2021. The FEA Program, offered in partnership with three Canadian universities, is a prerequisite to earning the FEA designation which represents the pinnacle of professional expertise in the field of family enterprise advising.
“We are extremely proud of our newly certified FEAs. They put in the hard work and with the valuable knowledge and insights gained from the FEA program, they can better serve their business family clients,” says Bill Brushett, President and CEO at Family Enterprise Canada.
The FEA designation helps advisors, including accountants, lawyers, bankers, coaches, insurance, wealth and other professionals, augment their formidable technical skills. It showcases their commitment to family enterprises and their ability to bring timely and thoughtful solutions to the family table. Our designates report that the FEA Program has led to deeper relationships with their clients and a broadened perspective on the issues business families face, including generational transition.
“This intense, year-long program, followed by a rigorous examination process, takes commitment and passion to complete,” says Bill, “and today, we congratulate these dedicated professionals who join the ranks of over 450 FEAs in Canada who have achieved this high standard in family enterprise advising.”
Congratulations to our 2021 FEA designates
