Announcing the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) Designates of 2022
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2022 – Family Enterprise Canada is honoured to announce the successful certification of 68 Family Enterprise Advisors (FEAs) in 2022. Meet our newest FEA designates (HERE or listed below.)
“We are extremely proud of our newly certified FEAs. They put in the hard work, and with the valuable knowledge and insights gained from the FEA Program, they can better serve their business family clients,” says Bill Brushett, President and CEO at Family Enterprise Canada, “and today we congratulate these dedicated professionals who join the ranks of over 450 FEAs in Canada who have achieved this high standard in family enterprise advising.”
The Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) Program helps advisors become “fluent in family enterprise,” says Claire Lynch, National Director, Advisor Programs at Family Enterprise Canada. “Managing a business is complex enough. Add family dynamics to the mix and it can become extremely complicated.”
The FEA Program gives advisors a unique perspective when it come to advising business families. It offers practical training in the field of family business based on collaborative learning over a period of one year, with participants moving through the FEA Program with a cohort of professionals and advisors from a mix of disciplines.
“We know of no other program in the world that offers quite the breadth and depth of education and skills training specific to family enterprise advising than the FEA Program here in Canada,” adds Ms. Lynch. “There’s no question that for advisors working with business families, the FEA Program is the gold standard.”
