Call for Nominations: FEC Board of Directors

OAKVILLE, ON – June 1, 2020 – During last year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Family Enterprise Canada (FEC) Board promised a call for Board member nominations for the 2020 AGM. Today we are following through on that commitment, and we are excited to issue this “Call for Nominations”. The Board is looking to onboard at least two new Directors to be elected at the September 15th AGM.

The governance structure of FEC and its sister Foundation each consist of their own separate Board of Directors. While we share one overall purpose for the family enterprise community in Canada, the FEC Board focuses on member communities, program and education delivery, peer to peer programs, digital resources and communications, and community events. Whereas, the Foundation Board oversees education development, curation of resources, thought leadership and research, and being the voice of family enterprise in Canada. This Call for Nominations today is for the FEC Board of Directors.

Family Enterprise Canada is committed to ensuring the well-being and success of business families, their family enterprises, and Family Enterprise Advisors (FEA). We have made great progress in building this dynamic community, however there is still tremendous opportunity for further growth. We need a strong committed Board to lead us in fulfilling our vision.
