COVID-19 Update: Community Support & Resources
OAKVILLE, ON – March 19, 2020 – These are very challenging times for everyone, and we want our whole family enterprise community to know we are here to support you. The well-being, health and safety of you, your families and businesses is of utmost importance to us.
Family-owned enterprises are the backbone of our economy and are at the centre of the current storm, dealing directly with extraordinary operational and financial impacts. We understand the difficult decisions and concessions you are all making in your day-to-day businesses and practices, adapting and adjusting to the current restrictions, rules and chaotic economic environment. Remember, you are not alone! We are all in this together and the family enterprise community has always been very resilient with a track record of pulling together in difficult times.
With your immediate concerns in mind, we want to share some information and a few resources that might be helpful in dealing with the uncertainties of the next few weeks:

It is encouraging to see the federal government step up with a comprehensive economic aid package to support businesses and all Canadians during this crisis, and also encouraging to see our financial institutions and other businesses providing support to those significantly impacted. Throughout our member community we know there is deep knowledge, capabilities and experiences across many industries and business functions and so we encourage you to stay connected with each other and think of ways we can support each other during these challenging times.
